Nogworth Cross is located on the verge of the road in Briercliffe with Shay Lane, and it is designated as a Grade II listed structure. This cross dates back to the late medieval period and is made of sandstone. It is a roughly hewn and slightly tapered block, measuring approximately half a meter square, with a recess or socket at the top that would have held a former cross shaft.
