Description
The Cross, located on Moor Lane in Hornby-with-Farleton, is a Grade II listed structure. It features a cross head and base that are likely medieval in origin, although the craftsmanship on the cross head indicates it may have been replaced more recently. The cross is made of sandstone and consists of an irregular boulder with a socket that holds a very short shaft, to which the head is now affixed using cement mortar.
