Description
Ollerbarrow House is a farmhouse, now used as offices, dating from around 1750. It is constructed of English garden wall bond brick and features a slate roof. The building has a double-depth central-staircase plan, with two storeys and an attic, as well as a lean-to against the left gable. The façade consists of three bays, with a central flat-arched door opening. There are four 3-light casement windows and one 2-light casement window, all with glazing bars, stone sills, and flat brick arches. A gablet is positioned over the central bay, and there are gable ridge stacks along with two circular leaded lights on both gables at the attic level. The rear of the house has five 2-light casement windows, with the central window located at landing level, and a matching gablet as seen on the front. Inside, the original layout has been preserved, featuring door openings that lead directly into the house part with chamfered beams, although the staircase is mostly a replacement.
