Description

Parrfold Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 17th century or early 18th century, with rebuilding and additions made in 1853. It is constructed of English garden wall bond brick and has a clay tile roof. The building has a three-bay, two-storey layout with a central entrance and extensions at the rear. There are remnants of stone quoins on the left side, and the brickwork includes narrow bricks that likely date back to the 17th century.

The central door features a flat brick arch, which is obscured by a gabled porch from 1853 that has a Tudor-arched opening. There are enlarged window openings on either side of the door. On the first floor, there are three windows with cambered brick arches and 20th-century casements. The roof is steep, with a coped gable and kneelers. The projecting gable chimney stacks are from the 19th century and display a blue header diaper pattern. At the rear, there is a wing with a datestone reading "BT 1853," which includes various 20th-century casement windows, some in original openings, and a door topped with a brick hoodmould.
