Description
The Kennels is a house dating from the late 17th century. It is built of plain English garden wall bond brick and has a slate roof. The building is two storeys high with an attic. The entrance front features a 19th-century gabled porch at the center. On either side of the porch are two-light 19th-century casement windows with cambered heads. There is a band of brick's depth between the floors. The first floor also has two-light casement windows, with the one on the left being a 20th-century replacement. In the center, there is a blind rendered window reveal with a flat-arched gauged brick head. A gabled dormer at the center originally contained a window, which is now bricked up. The gable ends have stone kneelers and coping stones. Additionally, there is a later 18th-century gabled wing added to the center of the rear.
