Description
A row of back-to-back cottages, now incorporating a shop, located at 2 and 3 Wrigley Place, dates from the early 19th century. The cottages are constructed from hammer-dressed watershot stone and feature a graduated stone slate roof. Each cottage has three storeys, and Nos. 61 and 63 have been altered to no longer be back-to-back. The buildings have quoins, with doors on the right that have square-cut stone surrounds. The ground floor windows are three-light, while the upper floors have seven-light windows, all featuring flat-faced stone mullions, some with one or two blocked lights and continuous sill bands. The back cottages on Wrigley Place have similar doors and windows, but with one, two, and eight lights, and several mullions have been removed.
