Description

Lodge Bridge is a road bridge that has been converted into a footbridge, built between 1794 and 1798 by engineer William Jessop. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a hump-backed design. The bridge has an elliptical keystone arch supported by rusticated voussoirs. The parapet walls rise above a stone band and are topped with round copings, ending in square piers.
