Description
Nos. 18, 20, and 22 on New Road are two houses and two back-to-back houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from hammer-dressed watershot stone and feature a graduated stone slate roof. Each house is two rooms wide and has three storeys, with quoins at the corners. The central door of each house has a square-cut surround and is flanked by windows on either side, which also have square-cut surrounds and 20th-century casements. The first and second floors have 6 or 7-light flat-faced stone mullion windows, some of which have blocked lights. There is a blocked taking-in door and three ridge chimney stacks. The rear of the building has a similar elevation to the front.
