Description

This is a mid-18th century farmhouse with an adjoining cottage and barn. The farmhouse is built of squared rubble with a graduated stone slate roof. It has a single-depth plan with four bays, two storeys in height, and a rear range was added later. Quoined corners are visible. There are doors in bays 3, with square surrounds; the left door has a keystone lintel, and the right has a 20th-century porch. Each bay on both floors features mullion windows with 3, 4, 5, or 6 recessed lights and a cavetto-moulded stone surround. Four ridge chimneys are present. The barn, to the right, has a segmental-headed cart entrance with a corresponding rear cart entry and a shippon door on the right side. The rear range has 2 and 3-light windows.
