Description
Pastures Farmhouse is a farmhouse believed to date from 1764. It is constructed of hammer-dressed watershot stone and features a slate roof. The building has three storeys and one bay, with quoins at the corners. There is an inserted door to the left, along with three and one-light windows on the ground floor, including a 20th-century window. The upper floors have eight-light windows with king mullions, although three mullions have been removed and five lights are blocked. All windows have recessed cavetto-moulded mullions. There is a blocked taking-in door and a brick gable chimney stack. A blocked gable entrance has a keystone lintel, and there is a door to the rear with a square-cut surround and a 20th-century porch. The first floor has two three-light windows, each with one missing mullion, and the second floor has two four-light windows, all similar to those described above.
