Description

This is a house, originally known as Woodbrook Farmhouse, dating from the middle to late 18th century. It is constructed of hammer-dressed watershot stone with a roof of graduated stone slates. The house has a three-bay, two-storey layout. A 20th-century porch obscures the central doorway, which has a dressed stone surround. The ground floor has five- and four-light windows, and the first floor has five, two, and four-light windows; all feature recessed flat-faced stone mullions. Square eaves gutter brackets are present, along with a gable chimney stack. The rear elevation has a three-, four-, and nine-light arrangement of windows and includes a lean-to addition.
