Description
Catshead Nook is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of hammer-dressed watershot stone and features a graduated stone slate roof. The building has three bays and two storeys, with a 20th-century porch, a lean-to extension on the right gable, and a continuous outshut at the rear, part of which is an extension. The porch has a flat roof and is flanked by three and five-light recessed flat-faced stone mullion windows. On the first floor, there are three similar four-light windows. The house also has square eaves gutter brackets and a gable chimney stack. Each gable end has two two-light windows, most of which are blocked.
