Description

This is a farmhouse dating to around 1800. It is constructed of hammer-dressed watershot stone with a slate roof. The farmhouse is two storeys high and comprises two bays. The first bay has four-light windows on each floor, while the second bay has three-light windows on each floor. All windows have recessed flat-faced mullions. Shaped eaves gutter brackets are present. The gables are coped with kneelers and have gable chimney stacks, although one has been removed. A lean-to extension is attached to the right gable, and a brick porch is situated on the left gable. Several 1 and 2-light gable windows are present, many of which are blocked. At the rear, there are four 2 and 3-light windows, incorporating a total of five blocked lights.
