Description

These are a pair of gate piers dating from around 1859, located at The Brooklyn. They are made of stone and feature cast-iron lamp bases. The piers have a square section and are decorated with cusped foiled panelling. Each pier has projecting raking caps that are topped with cast-iron lamp bases, which are further embellished with acanthus decoration.
