Description
Haywood House is a mid-19th century building that now serves as offices. It is constructed of brown brick with stone dressings and features a hipped slate roof. The building has two storeys and a five-window range, with a prominent central bay. The central entrance is set within a Doric portico and is flanked by two 12-pane sash windows that have segmental brick heads. On the first floor, the windows have been altered to 12-pane top hung casements, with the central window framed in a moulded stone architrave and one window on the left enlarged. A stone string course runs along the building, topped by a moulded eaves cornice and blocking course. The interior has not been inspected.
