Description

A pair of gate piers dating from approximately 1830 to 1850. Constructed with a brick core and stucco facing, the piers are square in plan. Each pier features a chamfered plinth, a panelled shaft, a frieze, and a cornice, topped with a raised pyramidal capping. These piers are an integral element of a substantial group of gate piers located in The Park.
