Description
39 to 49 Bewsey Road is a terrace of Georgian houses, dated 1776 as noted on the rainwater head. The buildings are constructed of brick and rise three storeys, topped with a slate roof and featuring a wooden eaves cornice. Each house has a six-panelled door and a rectangular fanlight, most of which have glazing bars. Four of the houses have panelled wooden doorcases with pediments, although one pediment is missing and another doorcase has been entirely removed. The windows are primarily sash style, with two new casement windows, and most have glazing bars, along with stone sills and lintels. All the listed buildings on Bewsey Street form a group with 1 and 6 to 10 (even) Froghall Lane.
