Description
11 to 13 London Place is a row of three houses that form part of a terrace, built in the early 19th century, before 1837. The buildings are three stories high and constructed from stuccoed brick, featuring four panelled pilaster strips with moulded caps. They have area basements enclosed by iron railings. A moulded cornice runs along the top, and there is a panelled and ornamented parapet that conceals an attic storey. The roof is made of Welsh slate and has three red brick chimney stacks. Each floor includes sash windows set in eared moulded stucco frames; the ground floor windows have semi-circular heads, and all windows feature glazing bars. The front doorways also have semi-circular heads and fanlights. At the rear, the original red brick facade is visible, with fanlights above the doorways, although the eaves stacks have been rebuilt. Nos 6 to 16 London Place form a group with these houses.
