Description

56 to 66 Winchester Street is a group of six different but similar houses, dating from the 17th, 18th, and early 19th centuries. They form an irregular terrace with group value. Each house is two storeys high, with most units featuring two windows, except for No 58, which has one. The roofs are irregularly thatched, with eyebrows on No 60, while No 56 has modern pantiles. The walling is rendered, with No 56 displaying a combination of half-timbered and painted brick walling. The windows include casements, and No 56 has sash windows. The doorways are plain.
