Description
The obelisk, built in 1874, is made of sandstone and features a stepped base. At each of the four corners, there are sculptured lions. On the east side of the base, there is a panel that displays a beast's head in relief. This moderate-sized obelisk stands on the site of a former beacon and is primarily recognized as a landmark.
