Description

Wallcroft is a lodge dating to circa 1835. It is constructed of white-painted Flemish bond brickwork, topped with a pyramidal grey slate roof and features a central octagonal brick chimney capped in stone. The lodge is a small, single-storey square cottage with a symmetrical front and sides, and a 20th-century extension at the rear. A modern door is set within a brick doorcase featuring a simple Doric entablature of painted stone or plaster on square brick piers. This is flanked by a recessed 12-pane sash window to each side. Two similar sashes are present in each side wall.
