Description
This building, originally a barn, now houses a swimming pool and is located in the garden of Manor Farm. It dates from the early 17th century and has been altered over time. The structure features an oak box-frame with one intermediate rail, with later brick infill in the panels and a sandstone plinth. It has a grey slate roof, and the north gable has been rebuilt. Inside, there are two queen-strut trusses made of unsawn oak, with some timber replaced, supporting oak purlins, some of which are made from reused timbers. The rear wall and the interior below the eaves level have been remodelled.
