Description

Manor Farm Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that was altered and subsequently re-faced in brick, likely during the early 19th century. It has a grey slate roof, hipped on the left side and gabled on the right, with a chimney. The cottage is two storeys high and originally comprised two rooms. It features small-paned wooden casement windows, two on each storey, set under cambered arches on the lower floor; the lower windows lack cills. A replaced boarded door serves as the entrance.

Inside, a central lobby leads to one room on the left and one on the right. Roughly chamfered oak beams are visible. An ingle-nook against the right gable features a chamfered hood-beam. A plain staircase with winders is present. An oak-framed partition divides the bedrooms, and chamfered oak purlins are also a feature.
