Description
Well House Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of orange brick in Flemish bond with yellow headers and features a hipped Welsh slate roof along with three brick chimneys. The building has an L-shaped plan and is two stories high with a symmetrical three-bay south front. There is a stone band at the first floor and a moulded wooden cornice. The end bays have 16-pane sash windows with flat wedged stone heads below and 12-pane sash windows above. The entrance features a Doric doorcase with a heavy flat hood, a half-glazed door, and a fanlight with radial glazing bars. The east front also has similar 12-pane sash windows.
