Description
Pool Farmhouse is a 17th-century house that has been altered and features a rendered front painted to resemble small framing, topped with a purple-grey slate roof. The building stands two storeys high and has three gables on the front. The original 17th-century section was likely located under the central and left gables, which are connected by a ridged roof that runs parallel to the front. There is a late Georgian five-panel door located under the left side of the central gable, which is framed by a pedimented wood case with raised panels in the reveals and soffit. The windows have been replaced, likely in the 19th century. The house was originally designed as a lobby-entrance. Inside, chamfered oak beams are visible.
