Description

Guidepost, probably from the 1870s, made of cast iron. The octagonal shaft features "CCC" embossed in ornate letters on a raised shield. There are plates with raised margins and pecked corners that direct to Malpas, Dodd's Lane, and Whitchurch in sans serif capitals. It is topped with a ball finial.
