Description

The Guide Post, likely dating from the 1870s, is a cast iron structure located at the junction of Malpas Road and Chapel Lane in Bradley. It features an octagonal shaft with the letters "CCC" embossed in ornate style on a raised shield. The guide post has plates with raised margins and pecked corners that direct to Malpas, Macefen, and Whitchurch, all in raised sans serif capitals. At the top, there is a decorative ball finial.
