Description

This footpath guidepost, located 25 meters south-west of Bridge Farmhouse, dates from the late 19th century and was made by W H Smith and Co. in Whitchurch. It features a tapering octagonal cast-iron shaft that includes the maker's name. The guidepost has a moulded cap and a ball finial, along with a single finger plate that has nicked corners. The plate reads "PUBLIC FOOTPATH TO WELSH ROAD PLEASE KEEP TO PATH."
