Description

A garden wall and gates dating to circa 1800, located on Eaton Road. The wall is constructed of coursed red sandstone, built with large ashlar blocks and stands 1.8 metres high. The gate piers are square, topped with domed caps. The carriage gate features a lattice-braced lower panel, a double lockrail decorated with a band of S-shaped motifs, fleur-de-lys heads to the dogbars, and a double top-rail decorated in a similar style to the lockrail. This listing includes the front garden wall north of Netherleigh House and the eastern corner of the garden south of the house.
