Description

This is a small house dating from around 1850, located on Pyecroft Street in Chester. It is constructed of yellow-brown brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a grey slate roof that is hipped at the street corner. The front facing Pyecroft Street features a replaced front door within its original doorcase, which includes a plain overlight and flat hood. There are two 16-pane recessed sash windows on either side of the door. The upper storey has three similar sash windows, the central one being narrower. The rear of the house, facing Overleigh Road, has one 16-pane recessed sash window on each floor on the left side. A replaced window to the upper storey of the rear wing, on the right, is set within the original opening. Brick chimneys are present. The interior of the house has not been inspected.
