Description

No. 2 Pyecroft Street is a small house built around 1850. It features brown brick in Flemish bond with paler headers on the front and has a grey slate roof. The house is designed in a late Georgian style and stands two storeys tall. It has a plain painted plinth, likely made of sandstone, and a replaced door located to the right, which is set under a plain overlight in a wooden doorcase with a flat hood that has Classical influences. The windows are sashes that are recessed, with painted stone sills and wedge lintels; there is one window with 16 panes and one with 12 panes to the left of the door, and three 12-pane windows on the upper storey. The house has brick chimneys. The interior has not been inspected. Additionally, there is a row of cottages on Overleigh Road that are attached to this property but are not included in this listing or any other.
