Description

The canal stables at Willey Moor Lock, built around 1800, are a small structure made of white-painted brickwork framed with small-scantling timber. The roof has been replaced with corrugated asbestos. Inside, there are vertical buffer-boards on the internal walls and on the external face facing the canal. Wooden hay racks and feeding troughs are located against the northeast wall, and there is a boarded door.
