Barn. Dated 1844. Brick in Flemish bond; Welsh slate roof. Some brick patching and repairs. Main elevation, 3 bays. 1st floor with oculi in, stone surrounds with flat sills and breathers arranged in an X pattern between. 3 doorways under segmental heads with stone hinge and latch pads, planked doors with strap hinges. A later doorway to the extreme right has a rectangular overlight. Both end walls are under deeply overhanging verges, with groups of breathers arranged in X and diamond patterns; to the street end a date-shield (1844) to gable wall, and 2 C20 windows to ground. Rear with 2 tiers of diamond and X patterned groups of breathers; 1st floor taking-in door concealed behind corrugated iron sheet. 2 doorways (as to front) and a smaller opening to left. Simple king post and strut roof. The barn forms part of an attractive group with the Holly Bush Public House and granary (q.v refs 2.50 and 2.53).
