Description

Bridge Number 211 on the Trent and Mersey Canal is an accommodation bridge built in 1777 by James Brindley. It is constructed of brown brick and features a deep segmental arch. The bridge has battered abutments that are curved in plan, along with brick parapets that have flush stone copings. There are square end piers, and the structure includes stone springers and some flush stone quoins.
