Description

Bridge Number 210 on the Trent and Mersey Canal is an accommodation bridge built in 1777 by James Brindley. It is constructed of brown brick and features a deep segmental arch. The bridge has battered abutments that are curved in plan, brick parapets topped with flush stone copings, and square end piers. There are one or two stone voussoirs located below the arch springings.
