Description
The shippon and former barn, located 15 metres north-west of No 65 Park Farmhouse, is an L-shaped farm building likely dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of brown brick and features a grey slate roof. There is an opening to the former threshing floor, which is supported by an oak lintel, and the building has oak kingpost trusses. The two-storey shippon has altered openings on the lower storey, along with diamond-shaped brick vents and rectangular boarded doors leading to the hayloft. This structure is attractively grouped with Park Farmhouse and is included for its group value.
