Description
Park Gates Farm Cottages are a pair of farm cottages dating from the 17th century or early 18th century. They are constructed with a timber frame, featuring rendered infill and a plain tile roof. The cottages are single storey with an attic.
On the entrance front, there is a plinth that supports 14 by 3 cells of uneven small framing, with angle braces at either end and at the fifth and tenth uprights from the left. There are doorways located to the right and left of the center, along with two 3-light and one 2-light ground floor casement windows. The attic features three 2-light gabled dormer windows. Gable chimney stacks are present at either end, with a ridge stack positioned to the right of center.
At the rear, there is a gabled projecting wing on the left and an outshut on the lower right-hand wall. Above this outshut, there are 7 cells of small framing, with angle braces at the fifth upright from the right.
