Description

The coach house and stable at the rear of Beech Hall School dates from around 1800, with alterations made in the mid-19th century and early to mid-20th century. It is constructed of brown brick with red brick dressings and features a hipped concrete tile roof. The building is two storeys high and has three windows. Most of the windows are 19th-century casements with pointed arched heads.

In the center, there are a pair of ogee-headed openings with Gothick blind tracery, although the left opening has been altered by the insertion of a mid-20th-century window. The right opening contains a mid-20th-century window and door. On either side, there are pointed arched doorways flanked by single windows, with the right doorway featuring a 19th-century four-panel door and overlight.

The left side of the building has a 20th-century window on each floor, with the upper window set in a pointed arched opening. The right side has a gabled single bay addition from the 20th century, along with 20th-century windows. The rear of the building displays irregular 20th-century fenestration.
