Description

The coach house and stables, located immediately southeast of Beamhurst Hall, date from the early 19th century. Constructed of red brick, the building features a hipped slate roof and stands two storeys high with five bays. There is a slight central break adorned with a band and a pediment that contains a false clock in an oculus. The structure includes a lunette and a segmental-headed coachway with double doors that have decorative hingework. On either side of the central section are two-bay wings, each with central stable doors and pitching eyes above, flanked by fixed light windows. The ground floor windows are wide, two-light designs with segmental heads, while the first floor features smaller three-light windows, all with small pane glazing bars. Inside, the building has a king post roof with machine-cut members.
