CROXDEN CP BEAMHURST Pavilion and garden shelters south west of Beamhurst Hall

Pavilion and garden shelters. Early C19. Red brick with ashlar dressings; slate roofs. Pavilion to right, garden shelters to left.

Pavilion: Greek revival style. One storey; five bays defined by grooved pilasters supporting a moulded eaves cornice with decorative cast iron cresting interspersed by carved stonework with anthenion patterns; floor to eaves 32-pane glazing bar sashes; central glazed door and rectangular overlight with latticed glazing bars.

Garden shelters: four open fronted bays defined by brick piers with ball finials and a central rectangular turret with basket arch head.
