Description

The Lodge of King's School is a lodge dating to circa 1856. It is constructed of coursed and squared stone with a Welsh slate roof. The building has an L-shaped plan, with a lean-to porch added against the west wall. The gable end facing the school features a two-light mullioned and transomed window, and the gable facing the street has a three-light mullioned window. A two-light mullioned dormer window is located above the three-light mullioned window in the north wing. An expressed chimney is present, featuring an octagonal shaft against the rear gable wall.
