Description
Paddock Hill Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, with 20th-century additions. It features a timber frame with brick infill and a thatched roof, standing two storeys tall. The west front has a stone plinth and small framing with arched braces. There are two inserted 20th-century doors, along with a 20th-century bow window and dormer windows. To the left, a garage block adjoins the cottage, featuring planted and painted simulation beams. A gable chimney is located on the right side. The rear facade is similar to the front and also includes inserted 20th-century windows. Inside, the ground floor has ceiling beams in the parlour and hallway, and there are two similar trusses with a cambered tie beam, arched braces to the principals, and ridge and wind braces.
