Description

The walls surrounding the Quaker graveyard date from the late 17th century or 18th century. They are constructed of sandstone and red English garden wall bond brick, forming a rectangular enclosure with walls approximately 4 feet high. The entrance front features a wall made of coursed stonework topped with triangular coping, with a gateway located to the right of the center. The rear wall is similar but does not have a gateway. The side walls are made of brick with flat stone capping, and there is some replacement work from the 19th and 20th centuries. The burial stones within the graveyard date from around 1680 to 1820.
