Description

The gatepiers to Newton Hall date from the 18th century and are constructed of whitewashed ashlar. They feature moulded plinths, rusticated blocks, and cyma moulded caps topped with concave pyramidal caps that support balls. There are also 20th-century iron name plates and moulded tablets affixed to the piers.
