Description

The gatepiers, gates, and wing walls at Newton Court are designed in a Neo-Classical style and date from the 19th century. They feature red sandstone ashlar piers alongside squared rubble walling and wrought iron gates. The tall square rusticated gatepiers are topped with a cornice and large vase finials. The double gates have swept tops, spear finials, and dog-bars. Curved wing walls are capped with flat stone coping.
