Description
Haberdashers' Agincourt School is a two-storey building constructed of local rubblestone in very random courses, featuring some slight quoins. It has Welsh slate roofs and red brick chimneys. The layout includes a double depth house with a cross-wing on the left side of the front range and a wider parallel rear range. There are additional ranges attached at the rear, which were once used as stables.
The main elevation consists of three bays, with the gabled wing positioned on the left. This wing features a restored three-light window in a brick surround on the ground floor, with pointed head lights above, and an original two-light window recessed in a stone frame. The gable has a blocked vent and plain bargeboards. The central bay includes a rebuilt gabled porch with a half-glazed door and a two-light half dormer above.
During the recent survey, only the ground floor was accessible. The porch leads into a central hall with a staircase rising at the rear. The staircase has stick balusters and turned newels. The plain rooms have been altered for school use.
