Description

The Elms is a two-storey building, rendered and lined to resemble stone, and painted, with chamfered quoins and a Welsh slate roof. It features a double depth central entrance plan and three windows. The windows are 6 over 6 pane sashes with stone cills. The central doorway has a 6-panel door and a fanlight above it. At the ground floor, there is a full-width Regency style verandah supported by six trellis columns and arches. The upper floor windows have scalloped blind boxes, and the building has a hipped roof with end stacks. There have been major extensions to the rear, although the rear elevation is not visible. The interior details were not available at the time of the resurvey.
