Description

Nos. 23-31 (odd) Monkswell Road Unpainted render lined out as ashlar, Welsh slate roof. Terrace of five single fronted double depth houses with the entrances on the left. Three storeys, two windows to each house. Panelled pilasters between each house, band at first floor level and at second floor cill level. Doorways with part glazed door, fanlight and wooden porches with barge boards and pointed finials. Canted bay window on ground floor to right of porch, 3 over 3 pane sashes flanked by 1 over 1 pane. Other windows are plain 2 over 2 sashes, smaller on the second floor. Date stone at centre of terrace on second floor reading 'North Parade Terrace 1870'. Plain roof with six ridge stacks to whole. Blind gable ends to terrace. Rear elevation not seen. Interiors not inspected.
