Description

The cross in the churchyard of the Church of St. Peter is made of red sandstone ashlar for the medieval sections and Forest of Dean stone for the Victorian parts. It features a square broached socket stone set on a square step, with the possibility of additional stones buried beneath the turf, or it may have been completely rebuilt in the late 19th century. The shaft is broached, hollow chamfered, and tapering, leading up to a cross adorned with slight crockets.
