Description
Newton Hall is a two-storey building with a T-shaped plan, rendered over stone rubble and topped with Welsh slate roofs. The main section runs parallel to the road, with a wing that projects forward from the center. The building features mostly 19th-century sash windows, although a close inspection of its details was not possible. The projecting wing has a three-over-pane sash window on each floor, and there is a tripartite sash window in the wing to the right. The gable has a plain bargeboard, and the steeply pitched roofs are complemented by rubble stacks, including a lateral stack on the left wall of the front wing and a rebuilt gable stack on the right wing. Additional details and the rear elevation were not available during the resurvey in August 2004, and the interior was also not accessible at that time.
